Upcoming Events

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) is hosting their sixth annual “Fright at the Fairgrounds” every Friday and Saturday night through the month of October starting Friday, September 30th. 

Fright at the Fairgrounds happens at the Douglas County Fairgrounds located off Pinenut Road in Gardnerville. Tickets are $10.00 per maze. The Sheriff’s Office runs two operation times. The first is for smaller kids (not-so-scary) from 3-5:30 PM and the second time is the main event (full scare) from 6-9 PM.

Join us on Halloween for Safety Streets (Tick or Treating) from Noon to 5:00 PM. The main event (full scare) on Halloween night begins at 6:00 PM and ends at 9:00 PM.
