MINDEN, Nev, (Jan. 21, 2026) — The Federal Bureau of Investigation has determined that the reported threats made to several schools in Northern Nevada this morning were a hoax. Investigators are continuing to work to identify the origin of the threats.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office conducted extensive checks in response to the reported threats and found no suspicious activity.
There is no new information at this time.
