MINDEN, Nev. (Dec. 15, 2025) – On Dec. 15, 2025, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) was advised of a planned protest at the Starbucks Roasting Plant, located at 2525 Starbucks Way, in Minden, Nevada.

At approximately 5:40 a.m., protesters arrived at the Starbucks Roasting Plant and blocked the main truck entrance to the facility. DCSO personnel were deployed to assist with the safety and security of the facility. At that time, there were approximately 75 individuals on Starbucks property, with approximately 30 individuals actively blocking the main truck gate and vehicle entrance.

At approximately 8 a.m., Starbucks Security advised DCSO that all protesters were required to leave Starbucks property or be subject to arrest for trespassing. The protest leader was contacted and advised that protesters would be requested to leave Starbucks property and relocate to public areas or be arrested.

At approximately 8:30 a.m., multiple announcements were made to all protesters advising them to leave Starbucks property or face arrest for trespassing. Several protesters remained near the main gate and refused to leave Starbucks property.

DCSO personnel were deployed to contact the remaining protesters near the main gate. The individuals were again advised of Nevada trespass laws and informed that failure to leave the property would result in arrest. A total of 32 individuals refused to comply and were arrested for trespassing. These individuals were removed from the area and issued citations in lieu of physical arrest.

The remaining protesters complied with lawful orders and relocated to public areas to continue protesting.

At approximately 10:15 a.m., all protesters had voluntarily left the area, and the incident concluded without further disturbance.
