9:15 AM -- Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Seeks Public Help in Locating Missing Girl
MINDEN, Nev. (Dec. 12, 2025) – On Dec. 12, 2025, at approximately 7:03 a.m., it was reported to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office that a young female was riding a scooter, as noted in the attached photographs, southbound on Highway 395 in Douglas County, Nevada, in the area of Silver City RV Park. DCSO responded to the area and located the scooter, but no child. The child is believed to be of elementary age.
She is described as approximately 9 years old light brown, curly hair about shoulder length, a black mini skirt, no leggings or pants, an olive green backpack and Converse shoes.
The Sheriff’s Office continues to search the area but needs assistance from the pubic with any information.
