Successful Shut Down of Drug Sales Trafficking

Minden, Nevada- In the early morning hours of Friday, May 29th, 2020 a search warrant was executed at 1819 Helman Drive. The search warrant was the culmination of a five-month long investigation into the methamphetamine distribution activities of Melissa White. The investigation was a collaborative effort with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Street Enforcement Team, the Tri-Net Task Force and the FBI Safe Streets Task Force.

Throughout the course of the investigation, approximately 60 grams of methamphetamine was purchased from White during undercover operations.  During the execution of the search warrant, 55.3 grams of suspected methamphetamine and several tabs of suspected LSD were located. 

The following are the arrests that were made during the search warrant at the Helman address in Gardnerville, where each person resided.

  • Melissa White, a 42-year-old female, is charged with 6 counts of trafficking a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.White bail was set at $130,311.

     

  • John Neese, a 55-year-old male, is charged trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

    Neese’s bail was set at $105,311.

     

  • Mark Gregg, a 58-year-old male, is charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

    Gregg’s bail was set at $5,308.

     

  • Lori Wright, aka Lori Lamontagne, a 59-year-old female, is charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Wright’s bail was set at $5,308.

White, Neese and Gregg all have a record of prior felony convictions.
