Residential Burglaries

Minden, Nevada – The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office announces a number of residential burglaries committed over the past year have been cleared with the arrest of Bridgett Blair, a 41 year old female from Gardnerville. Blair was arrested on 3-6-20 pursuant to an East Fork Justice Court warrant charging Blair with possession of stolen property. Subsequent investigation lead to a search warrant being executed at Blair's residence where numerous pieces of stolen property were recovered. Investigative leads developed while executing the search warrant at Blair's residence led to the recovery of a number of stolen firearms from another location. All of the victims whose property has been recovered thus far have been notified. This investigation is continuing and it is possible that more burglaries will be cleared as this case moves forward.

The Sheriff's Office wants to remind its residents to remain diligent with common home security measures. The use of proper outdoor lighting along with video doorbells and cameras make your home safer from unwanted guests. Getting to know your neighbors and locking your doors when not home remain the best security for your neighborhood.
