Minden, NV- On Thursday morning, October 22, 2020, at approximately 2:30 am, Deputies were patrolling US Hwy 395 in Minden, Nevada when they stopped a motor vehicle for a speeding violation.

Deputies contacted the occupants of the vehicle (three males) and smelled the strong odor of marijuana emitting from the interior of the vehicle. They subsequently conducted a field narcotics investigation, which resulted in locating and recovering approximately 8 pounds of marijuana, 627 grams of concentrated THC, just under $2,000 in US Currency and a Glock-19 handgun.

Charges for the occupants ranged from Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sales, Conspiracy to Violate the Uniform Controlled Substances Act, Prohibited Person in Possession of a Firearm, Child Endangerment, and other traffic violation charges.

Deputies arrested all three occupants. The adults were identified as Joseph Coleman (19 years old), Reno, Nevada, Erin Sadzak (19 years old), Reno, Nevada, and a 17-year-old male from Reno, Nevada.
